Description
Here is my 3D Maneuver gear I built for my Levi costume. This gear debuted at PMX 2013 for the SnK gathering.
Total 3DMG Weight: 5.5lbs
The lower back boosters are made with WonderFlex, wire, suspender clips, parachute string & hardware. They're very light... I've thrown it against the wall a few times to verify that they're strong.
The wooden handle hilts were shaped by Connor our of wood I found at the craft store. There is also wonderflex, parachute string & brads on it. I'm not sure if anyone would be interested if we made resin replicas of them. If we had enough interest we might make them to sell as commissioned pieces.
I don't have the official hour count yet but I know it's over 60hrs of labor just on this gear... I spent a lot of time planning but a lot of time trouble shooting the issues & taking things apart. the issues are not all resolved yet. this is still a work in progress.

The boxes are craft foam, cardboard, hot glue, wire and hardware. (lots to fix on these.)
